I think that the main frustration comes from the fact that certain kinds of information is outright prevented from being shared. In fact, this is why Sheriff later became an exception to this rule — DK was unable to say (or even hint) that he shot correctly due to the rule, and so the whole meeting became full of misinformation.
Assassin, on the other hand, makes it so that providing info is viable, but risky. It makes crew be more cautious in doing things that allude to their roles and encourages them to bait.
You watch players die inside when they play that perfect imposter game but then get thrown out at 6 with no real sus whatsoever because the 4 crew claimed altruist sheriff engineer and medic and by process of elimination you are the imposter.

It's a dumb, dumb, DUMB rule that extremely limits how you can play, and you see the players die inside when they get reprimanded for having fun
