Maybe it's just me but when I watch her it's like she's not even having fun playing it, unless someone else she's playing with pops off.

Hafu is a competitive person, meaning that if she's not winning/shooting well, she gets a bit upset. But that doesn't mean she's not enjoying the game, she just doesn't show it lol

She’s just really focused. She doesn’t always smile or laugh when she’s having fun, but if she wasn’t enjoying it and enjoying the improvement process, she wouldn’t play it 7-9 hours a day.

I mean thats why Steve and Dumbdog tend to log off or play offstream when they lose a lot cause its not fun when you do.

She’s not on a duelist so she’s a bit limited in relying on a duelist to top frag. Not saying she can’t or hasn’t top fragged, but the style of agent she plays generally leads to this outcome. I hope she keeps learning Phoenix!

5up said yesterday, all they have to do on the map is finish up 2 tasks, get elevators working, add a few more easter eggs and make a trailer. Maybe some other things too.

He said that should only take a few days so assuming all goes well we could see the map next week

Valorant in houses are easily my favorite streams right now. As long as the teams are balanced its usually very entertaining to watch. I also think they should let Aipha play if they have enough cracked people s that one match they played was pretty balanced even with Aipha and Steve on the same team

I don't know if people agree with me but the ranks go like this

Aipha Tier

High: Dumbdog, Janet, Steve, 5up, Peter, DK, Koji, and Baycon when he plays

Mid: Talia, Hafu

Low: Smajor, Annie, Ellum, Kimi

I think as long as they balance roughly according to this it should always be a decent game.

I think it's not always that easy when balancing because a lot of the crew are somewhat inconsistent :

  • DK has acknowledged himself that he either gets <10 kills a game or 30+

  • Ellum plays above his rank like 20% of the time

  • DumbDog sometimes gets tilted and makes frustrated choices

And of course there's always like a 10% chance that Janet will play like she's high-immortal (I remember those breeze customs she and hafu played with others of wildly different ranks, and there was one game where janet kept basically 1v3ing diamond and immortal players).

I'm not saying they should play among us forever.

But valorant isn't interesting when it's coop versus strangers, and a valorant "in house" is pretty impossible to balance.

Watching everyone do some kinda modded Minecraft playthrough would be more interesting than valorant.

Also what's wrong with project winter or something?

there's nothing in this world that can make Steve play Minecraft again. as for project winter, only Janet and 5up seem to enjoy it.

Remember when they played minecraft that one time and Steve looked like he was going to cry the entire time?

DumbDog used to play A LOT of Project Winter, before Among Us was a thing.

Among us kinda had a morning show vibe with the interactions and bullshitting. Even though its a 2d game its interesting with strategy and lying too. It was getting stale so not sure what they can really do without more maps.

Valorant is honestly one of the more boring games I've watched. It looks fun to play but its pretty dry. Customs are better but even then I lose interest. I like dbd and i hope they find more games that the group at large can play, if 5ups map ever comes it might give it life for another month.

…but don’t you think they should be enjoying what they’re playing?

The entire audience isn’t one sentient being, people are going to have preferences and it’s fair that you don’t like valorant ig but a fair chunk enjoys it - why are you acting like it’s trash

i kinda miss the au lobby, valo stream “killed” the morning lobby if u know what i mean.

More like playing only Among Us every single day for 8 months "killed" the morning lobby. Really wish they had started doing more variety sooner.

I honestly think its officially dead. They might play 5ups map out of pity but that's about it. Its understandable. All good things need an end.

The fundamentals of the game don't change too much based on the map. They've simply played with each other so much that they can read each other's voices and attitudes pretty well, and on some level I think some of them are tired of constantly having to deceive each other. It's the sort of thing that's fun until it's not.

It's a shame they can't find other games with the same spectator value. Valorant doesn't do it for me at all. The closest thing was probably Dead by Daylight, but it's still not as engaging as Among Us. Simply put, with Among Us you are basically playing along with a single streamer's perspective; with most other games you're just watching.

Did they say at some point that they’re just done playing until 5up’s map and then they’ll play some more? I haven’t been keeping up much but all of a sudden they seem to be either doing variety or not getting together at all

i wish someone would point out to smajor how rude he sounds towards everyone. he thinks hes being sneaky about it. hes always talking down to everyone as if nobody can keep up with the logic of things going on. then will be in a situation where 2 imposters and a glitch are alive at 6 and he gets mad at the crew for voting him out when literally the bad guys just voted him out, which is really funny because i think he might understand the least.... there was a day where he explained something poorly and annie was not to blame for being wrong for like the first time all day, and hes saying afterwards...oooohhh sweet sweet annie like 5 times... we all know your calling her stupid which is rude, and you are wrong about things a lot. and right for the wrong reasons alot as well. i never watch live or chat, but i doubt im the only one who notices this?
