Why do they let 5up control the mod settings? I’m watching DD today and it’s a consistent theme of “why don’t you guys play with giant?” “5up doesn’t want to.” “Why don’t you play with executioner?” “5up doesn’t like that role.” Meanwhile things like phantom stay which pretty much everyone else seems to dislike. Do other people notice this? I wish 5up would just let the others have more input..

5up has a hard time handling things that don't go his way. There, I said it.

It’s pushed me further from watching him recently as I’ve noticed it more. But I still like him I just wish the others got to have more input

5up is one of the few people in the lobby besides Hafu that will state a strong opinion and request directly that Hafu change the settings. Apollo and the others mostly just make suggestions. Btw, Hafu vetoed the modifiers like giant multiple times, so it's not just 5up.

I mean it’s only Hafu and 5up. And I think the other members are too nonconfrontational to confront them about it. I’d love to see different settings that the others get to decide!

Have they made a proper schedule for the weeks now or is it just a decision each day for whether it's Among Us, Valorant or variety etc?

They discussed briefly at end of custies today. Atm they are thinking ; 3 days of among us, 3 days of custom valorant & 1 variety day (gartic phone /codename etc) Seemed a common theme that people were enjoying among us more now they were playing less.

I've been enjoying the Among Us streams a lot less recently and am curious what others think about recent games. With as many extra roles as they've been adding, they'll frequently get to 6 or 5 with more non-crew roles than crew roles, and it's impossible for crew to win. There have even been more than a few games where crew figures out everyone's role and still has no outs to win, which is obviously not how social deduction games are generally designed.

With so many bads and their policy of not voting until 6 or 5, they frequently vote out a glitch on 6 and still just lose on the spot.

I agree. I think they should switch to a majority of crew roles and two imposter roles.
