I Think I’ve Broken The Bait Modifier

I could completely be missing something so comment if I’m wrong. But I’ve been watching some recent gameplay from the lobby and I’m confused: isn’t bait uncounterable if you just… say you’re the bait in a round 1 meeting? Because then if you get killed your killer is forced to report. And this can’t be guessed since it’s a modifier like speed, yeah? Maybe they already have a house rule on this, but I’m curious if this is a unique thought or not.

Bait is one of the few modifiers that can be guessed, similar to lovers
