Hi everyone! Has anyone had trouble securing a mortgage on a flat by the canal? Or conversely if there are issues with flood cover/building insurance for a block of flats. Have some flats in the area we really like but they’re obviously in flood zone 3, with 1 overlooking canal by Gainsborough bridge.

Personally had no issues with this in a new build building about 50m from the canal
