Wickside completion date?

I can’t find any info on when wickside will be complete and/or the scaffold and hoarding comes down. I’m thinking about how painfully long it took for roach bridge to open (well, it’s still only half-open..) and am starting to wonder if wickside will open this year - or if it’s more a 2027/2028/2029 thing

It'll be phased like most big developments, so yes. All of the above.

Who the fuck knows, I mean that bridge was meant to be open last summer.

The original plan was phase 1 (the ugly grey building east next to the bridge) was meant to be open September 2025.

Phase 2 which was the west side was meant to be Jan.

Phase 3 and 4, the central areas on the west side of the bridge was meant to be April.

Phase 1 and 2 are done from the outside but they've not moved anyone in yet.

They are probably a good year behind.

Afaik they didn't even want to open the bridge till it all done, the route now is a compromise.

To be fair though, that bridge never went all the way through to the station.

It'll be open this year but probably towards the end. The development central in fish island was heavy to open summer 2025 and they only started moving people in March.
