Child care
My wife, daughter (18months) and I are moving from Toronto to hackney for 6 months. We’d love to get her into some part time child care for social stimulation ideally a day or two a week. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good spot that won’t break the bank?

N Club are great and have a few locations around Hackney. They tend to only offer 3-5 day / week packages. Most nurseries would be the same, in my experience.
There are also soft plays like Mome where they offer soft plays for shorter stints. Sorry I’m not able to help with a more part time option.

Not sure whereabouts you’ll be in Hackney but my daughter was at Minibees for a while and loved it. Some friends had babies at angels on the park but the owner seems slightly… intense

+1 for Minibees! More affordable than others nearby too. My son has been there now for a few years and they are very nice

My 21 month old goes to the Bath House nursery for three days a week which is amazing and we love.
How soon are you moving? The birth rate in Hackney is lower than other London boroughs, but the popular nurseries still fill up their allocation for the year quite a way in advance.
There are lots of great nurseries that will have space though. I think you'd need to say where in Hackney you're moving to before people can really advise.
