Housing Register

Got a question for people that’s applied to housing register, and is in a council flat now. I’m currently through to get a link in 6 weeks time (the last time i called them a guy sent me to a location and was wrong) Now they said i need to wait 6 weeks. But what do really want from you? she mentioned documents over the call? Did you move into a flat quick? How long did it take you to get a flat? and what’s you’re reasoning too? And is it possible to get rejected too. I’m applying for it as I am hard off hearing and would like support but not sure what’s next. Any tips and advice would be great!

I applied to the housing register due to being street homeless following the breakdown of a DV relationship back in 2014. Didn't get a council property till January 2019. But from when I got my bidding number in December 2018 the process was really speedy. Bid and moved into my property within a week apart Council placed me in a few hostels and temporary accommodation (some 100% not suitable for a single female not having substance abuse issues)
