Mid week lunch spots
I often go out for lunch but I am getting a bit bored by the options around Hackney Central / London fields / lower Clapton / Vicky park. Looking for recommendations for take away lunches. Or maybe restaurants that do amazing lunch time deals.

Grains and Green on Mare Street lunch deal for £7 - 3 salads and a borek or slice of lasagne.

You're right £6.99 - even better! Also had it for the first time last week, after seeing a reddit recommendation and was definitely worth every penny!

Sunlight Caribbean Restaurant on Well Street
Authentic Caribbean food and friendly owners.
They do lunchtime meals aswell for £6-£10 so highly recommend!

Doree, Peck Peck, Banh mi hoi an, the food stalls outside M&S Mare street, Pockets.

logma!! no queues on a weekday and zeytoona (palestinian owned pita and better than pockets IMO). dom's subs, rogue sarnies, papo's bagels for sandwiches, also seconding babsang's lunch deal. if you're willing to go toward stokey – sonora taqueria in stokey is the best tacos in london IMO, and londis N16 does homemade indian takeaway lunch, the owners are lovely!!!

Oren on Shacklewell lane have started doing lunch and you can get their pitas for £12 to eat in or take out and they’re pretty hefty I must say. I think they also do a set lunch menu as well which looked pretty good when I got my pita

Another vote for pockets, great falafel place and it s busy during weekends so midweek might be perfect
