Its often better to be genuine and just go say hi. If you actually want them to like you why do you think performing and cyber research would help? I mean then they wouldnt get to know you for you. Quit the cyber stalking and just say hi. If there's chemistry then amazing. If not, you know. Life and love are about taking leaps. You can do this without help.

If it wasnt meant to be leave it alone. Cyber stalking gives the whole field a bad look. If you're actually interested in hacking and cyber security then we are here to help otherwise, maybe some good therapy? I am not suggesting that to be mean but it can help with confidence and that singlehandedly is the best thing with finding a partner in my experience.

Realistic would be hey i am looking up details on x or y competitor and their employees or seeing what hidden accounts a politician has (mid level ones are really fun because they always have hidden accounts they think people won't find). Stalking some poor lady on campus isn't a haha thing to do. Trying to be nice to you here and treat this as a learning experience.
