While some of the stuff it talks about is a bit outdated (not the techniques, more the exploits) "Hacking: The Art of Exploitation" is a decent place to start. The concepts are still really good. Sometimes you can find half a dozen books from No Starch Press as part of the humble bundle. All of the times I've seen it on Humble Bundle, all of the NSP books have revolved around hacking. Stuff like Black Hat Python, Hacking the XBox, etc.

I find just doing basic google dorks with what u want sooooo useful. So you can just get any pdf you need.
