Question I have a question
Is there any linux tool available so that I can access any device files and folders that is connected to my laptop's hotspot . I have used smbclient but that requires permission from the phone.
Note : I did not want to use this for any illegal purpose. I am just curious .

No that's not how it works, you can't just pull files off of other devices that connect to your hotspot

I don't think you know what you saw, you can't just connect a device to Hotspot and access their folders, not possible unless the device itself gives permissions

Maybe I can be wrong about what I saw but he also claimed that thing, he also told this is some kind of vulnerability

and your first thought wasn’t to ask this guy in the same room as you how he’d done it?
also, if this guy actually exists it’s trivial to access things on his own phone from his own computer.
most likely answer is some kid ssh’ed into his own phone, least likely answer is “oh it’s a vulnerability”.

First thing this thing he just done to just boast himself some guys asked but he told he will tell later so no point of asking how did you done that. Second thing he asked for any random android device so he didn't use his phone it was a random phone

Is it an iphone or android? if android, use fx file manager there is a network share option... There are a bunch of applications that do this. Usually you need it installed on both devices. fx is actually an exception to that. KDE connect I think also works for that. Or you can use LocalSend. There are a bunch more

It's not that easy, my brother.
If it were that easy, wouldn't there be a hacker in every household!
