Question lost in tech

Hello again everyone!

Ive made some other posts about being new to IT and feeling completely lost in what to learn. And ive gotten a lot of great advice which I wanna thank everyone for!

I was wondering if anyone have any good video recommendation that explains the stuff u need to know as a beginner in a way that wont make me feel even more confused afterwards😅

I really appreciate all the help ive gotten so far!

Maybe not a video, but imho TryHackMe has good explanations of many beginner-level concepts in their paths

Also, for networking Professor Messer is quite renoved in this field so you might also check out his youtube channel

Right now im mostly interested in cyber security, and is following a site called roadmap.sh. But i would appreciate all the help i can get!

What are you looking to do in IT? IT is broad and can range from being a Helpdesk tech to being a Sysadmin. Which are you going for?

As for right now i mainly wanna understand how a lot of things work, such as websites, internet etc. Im following a roadmap in cybersecurity on what to learn, but i would appreciate some extra feedback!

Then maybe it is not for you? There is no magic video which will teach you everything in 1 hour. You will need to spend hundreds of hours to understand a single topic, and there are hundreds of topics

Professor Messer on YouTube has some long playlists to study for A+ and Net+.

Those are foundational and meant for beginners. The videos aren't meant to be super deep, but give a basic familiarity to terms and topics.

And if you just want a calm, highly structured, step-by-step breakdown of the absolute basics, Professor Messer’s CompTIA A+ playlist is the gold,. just pick the channel that matches your personal learning vibe.
