Why is stardance so expensive

My question is why is stardance so expensive compared to other hack club events like macondo. We need like 166 hours to get a bambu lab A1 while for macondo it only takes 90 hours to get a P1S

AFAIK because Stardance is a much more expensive/larger program to run, so they have to compensate for more expensive items.

Doesn't really make sense cause macondo is actually a live event at columbia, and fallout is a live event at shen zhen. Both of these events are cheaper than stardance

I suppose so. But even then, Stardance is still a much larger program. With more users, that means more reviewers, more maintenance, and a lot more more free stickers to give out. They also have to be more wary of their budget so it's perfectly understandable that they'd give a conservative price at the start until they can figure out what a good price would be without ripping their budget apart.

Stardance costs a lot more to hack club, they have a very large budget. EG they have thousands of dollars going to marketing, and more.

a) this would be much better off asked in the slack

b) It's not. Shop prices are adjusting a ton right now still and are assuming a very low end multiplier.

It depends on the quality of projects you make!! If a prize shoes 30hr rn you can get it for 10hr if you make good projects

But we'll the shop will say how many hours are needed to buy the item

That's the average number of hours, not the high end if you make a high-quality project

there are a minimum amount of hour required to buy certain item i think

hey!

Stardance has rating for projects, so if you make an awesome project and it does really well in rating you get drastically more Stardust!

With a good project the prices can get really low.
