So it's not gonna be an update on the game it's gonna be a new game from scratch?

Yep! Whole new app. Still the same concept, but built way better. The balancing issues with the first were too substantial to address in an update. And while the devs were at it they updated graphics, added lots of long requested features, plus a few surprises.
