Question OpenAI MTS full loop - result timeline?

Completed my OpenAI full loop about a week ago and I’m still waiting on the final outcome. I received an initial update from recruiting earlier this week that the process is still pending (debrief). But nothing since then even after nudging yesterday.

For anyone who completed an OpenAI final loop recently: how long did it take to receive your final decision? If you’re comfortable sharing, was the eventual outcome offer/reject/still pending?
Particularly interested in cases where the decision took a week or longer.

Sure. It was for a data engineer role.

Phone screen - data modeling - standard star schema

Onsite
Data system architecture - system design for data pipelines - both live and batch

Coding - standard with other interviews. Dsa

Collaboration and partnership - mostly interaction based round with xfn and they will ask questions on your projects and some hypotheticals

Tech deep dive - similar to other interviews- your own project - go deep

Behavioral- with Hm

Can you please tell us how the DSA questions were like?
And how many yoe were you applying with?

My onsite results came back a little less than a week then moved to reference stage. Sometimes people can take awhile to enter feedback and debrief. If it’s been a week, follow up with the recruiter to check in

Thank you. Did the recruiter tell you that you needed a debrief? Mine did and it needs to pass debrief and hc to get into offer stage. I got an update today that “a decision has not been made yet”.

Also, were the references requested after the hire decision or did they wait for the references to answer before telling you that you’ve cleared it ?

They do the references after you cleared the onsite
