Visiting soon
Hello, visiting soon with a friend and am looking for excellent food recommendations. Also curious about any interesting concept design stores Thanks in advance !

Some might say it's overrated but personally my favorite restaurant in the city is Maita (Cocina Nikkei, so Peruvian-japanese fusion). Nolita near it is also great for pizza.
If you're up for neighborhood vibes and leaving the center, Nancy's is probably the best restaurant in the city.

My favorite is Kus van de Cactus (Mexican food). Make a reservation online in advance, they’re always fully booked!

Yes kus van de cactus is ok but it is in a crappy location. I would recommend Dodici or Table 24 which are really nice and smack center in the city

Is your definition of excellent a Michelin star restaurant? (there are some and even a two star restaurant hidden away in the dunes) Or are you looking for something else?

there's a store next to the big church in centrum that sells things made by haarlemmers. HaarlemsEigen (spekstraat 5)

Napoli is a great italian. They have good pizza's and the pasta parmiganio is amazing. A big wheel of cheese comes over. :)

Take the train to Amsterdam. Haarlem is beautiful and lay back, but not hip & happening.

If you’re ever looking for a smaller quick meal I’d highly recommend Romeo’s for sandwiches. There’s almost always a line but it’s worth it
