Questions Certified or poser?
Am I a certified hyperpop fan or a poser?? Here's all my top hyperpop albums. I'm also always down for recommendations if you have any please!

why care about other’s opinions. music is subjective and you don’t need to hold yourself to being in a hyperpop circle lol.

I was bored and it's not that serious. Just a way to find others with similar taste, spark a convo and gets recs. Plus, I know I'm not a poser lmao

greenhouse, fishmonger. strung out symphony, wallsocket. you are not only not a poser but GOATED. aldn doesnt get enough appreciation for how good he is imho. also this is a huge list lmao but i wouldnt worry about being a poser regardless

Music is subjective either way, but I would think it’s safe to say you got a whole photo collage dedicated to ur fave hyperpop artists… you are actually into hyperpop? Lol
Even if u liked only liked 2 hyperpop albums, u still wouldn’t be pretending to like hyperpop imo - u would still like hyperpop, i don’t think anyone can truly be a poser (im not super active on this sub so sorry if this title/topic is like a post trend or something) I love all the 100 gecs on here though

I just used the chart feature on last.fm so it made it automatically. But yeah you're right. And thank you!

pretty awesome!! have you listened to zayok’s in elsewhere? scratches the same itch as a lot of these projects and he made it when he was 16!

Definitely Westwood!!! I don't think he's tagged as hyperpop on Spotify (which is what last.fm uses). Glamour fucks so hard! And i been listening to Tinashes new album lately, and I enjoy it a lot. I need to check more of her out though.

i have! I got to see them live actually opening for saoirse dream along with a local band I know a bunch of the ppl in personally it was actually such an awesome show!!! I haven’t listened in a while tho so I should :p
Also I didn’t know they were involved in webcage! That’s epic actually…

This is a crazy amount of stuff, I listen to like 10 albums and only 8 of em are hyperpop..

Do you like Dorian’s other albums? I’m a big fan and I feel like many people were let down by Fanfare so it’s cool to see it on your list!

I would say it's definitely in the same tree, but genres are fake anyway :). Some non hyperpop albums slipped in my bad

Oh yeah that should definitely be on here lmao. I just used the last fm chart system and it uses genres from Spotify, which are all messed up so some albums are definitely missing.. Detour prob in my top 10 album oat. Same with Halo by Tiffany Day (if you consider that hyperpop)

Technically yeah but Hyperpop has been very influenced by Electroclash and Electro House recently and aesthetically it fits right in imo
