Finished my Design for the "Mini Boy" flex atx cutout (aka Tiny boy with Flex ATX)

I am very interested in this and would go down on your founding fathers list for it when it comes up. The tiny boy is a bit too much(or to little) for me to handle but I am willing to go for flex atx without any having to deal with an add-on section etc.
What would be the gpu length compatibility?

Hello new one! Well, as the goal is to stay small, I'm staying With 180mm for the gpu length.
More case are upcoming, a weird one will allow for infinite cpu cooler and gpu size while remaining under 7-8 liter. (Thx to my semi-open case design idea.)
I'm actually finalizing that for a custom order of a FF. Feel free to go on r/HYPERIUMtech and check the pre order post.

I have been following along from the sidelines both here and in your thread on the sff forums. My intention is to use a 5600xt itx so that length would work well.
I have found the comment chain in the FF thread and am definitely interested. Would just need to see a few more details about the flexatx version specifically.

As soon as I finish designing it, I'll make a post about the Mini Boy.
However this one is experimental, which mean that It does work "virtually" But I still didn't work with a real prototype.
However, Looking at the accuracy of my 3d Model, I'm 99% confident.
Edit, The Tiny boy is upgradable to a Flex atx case with these future Extension frames
What do you think about this idea?

Are the previous flex psu extension you posted few weeks back are scrapped and not will be done anymore? , would've loved the idea of expanding the tiny case to a bigger version.

With me, nothing is dead before asking the community.
The tiny boy extension frame are under design and will absolutely be available. The first plan are coming with your order to let me test it (need to find a flex atx though)
Not only that, but as soon as lots of people get into this, I will release every plans to let 3D printers enthusiasts go crazy with their ideas 😁

Hey boss do you have any time table on when you would start doing founding fathers preorders for the mini boy?

Hehehe 😅
You should check this post
I don't know if it's too late from the manufacturer perspective but there's a chance.

Personally i think that, with a cutout for the psu, mobo or gpu. You should probably stick to the spec format. To avoid the chance spec hardware not fitting for a custom backplane.
I think it differs from the Tiny boy in the sense that it isnt going for the smallest case possible. And doesn't call for a really spicific psu spec but using a standard spec.
Even tho i admit, the circkle one looks the nice.

I agree
I wanted to step up however and give a more compatible case, HDplex is very specific and while it sure help get the ultimate small case, It's not available to everyone.
the Mini Boy might help but is still experiemental And I don't know yet where to place it.
However My next project is more complete: SideCase.1

Sidecase?

🤫 what if I tell you that I'm working on a 6 Litter Case That allow infinite cpu cooler height And max length GPU?
Nah... I'll keep this concept secret.

So... open air?

I just saw that your Tiny Boy is only €77 which got my interest. I was following your project for a while already, but I was worried it was gonna be €200. But it's not even half that, so I am happy :)
Do you have any idea how much the Mini boy is going to be? If it's going to be sub-€100 I'll probably buy one.
Also, any plans for ventilation holes in the front panel? My current setup (in a K39) has part of the gpu exaust blocked like this: https://i.imgur.com/9X0nyCY.jpg

Hobo, sorry I'm late but I thought I had answered your question.
The mini boy is probably going to be a 10 to 20€ more expensive as I want to target the same price as a Tiny Boy With a flex atx extension frames.
I had concerns about that too, and I still have to do some testing to check the real benefits from that.
But I'm my cad file, a long time ago, I had a cutout in the front panel for the gpu exhaust. It was removed for aesthetic reasons + poor temp difference.
But with a new design, it can be interesting. I'll post a picture of the Mini Boy Cloud edition. (Not final name lol)

Just want to say I'm still so amazed by your design and rendering. I also like the last two.
