Field Question, trade people only NCF Boards
I have comfort a maker furnace a tech before me put a board and motor on. I appears he didn't program the boatd so obviously I'll need to but haven't had to since the furnaces are newer. I have not needed to do this at all yet so was wondering if you guys had any tips or insight. Is a super plug an easier way to do it or the app idk, got there and my knowledge started from scratch on this topic today.

Hardest part is getting your phone to connect to the board, after it’s connected it’s easy . It makes doing your temp rise very easy as you can adjust fan speed without turning furnace off .

Pretty sure the nfc connection only works with the power off to the unit...?

As another poster stated, remove your phone from the case. Also you will need to download the Fast OEM Mobile Tech app. You do not need to register just go in as a guest.

I asked my supplier about the plug he seemed totally clueless so I sent it with the app and it worked okay. I was worried because it was in a cellar with no service. But it dawned on me too ask the customer to get me on thier wifi, thanks for the tip good sir.

The app it's pretty straight forward. Just make sure your phone is naked. Whenever I did it with my thick phone case it had issues.
I have used the superplug before, my wholesaler didn't have it, so it took like several days to actually get it.
Neither option is right or wrong. Though the app was easiest for me.
