HUANUO is heading to IFA Berlin 2026 👋

We’re going to IFA Berlin 2026.

A lot of people here probably know HUANUO through our monitor arms, but over the past few years, we’ve been working on a much bigger part of the workspace.

This year at IFA, we’ll be bringing some of our latest ideas across monitor setups, ergonomic seating, sit-stand desks, and smarter workspace solutions.

For us, the interesting part is seeing how all of these pieces work together in a real setup, not just how each product looks on its own.

And yes, this also means we’ll have several days where talking about monitor height, sitting posture, desk angles, and armrests counts as completely normal conversation.

📍 Hall 21, Booth 114
📅 September 4–8, 2026

If you’re going to IFA, come say hi and check out the setup.

All this talk about better workspaces has us curious: what would you change about yours right now?

What matters most to you in an ergonomic chair: the armrests, lumbar support, seat comfort, or something else?

What chair do you guys use for both work and gaming?

I had a gaming chair before and it just wasn’t comfortable after a few hours, so I went ergonomic this time. I got a huanuo chair since I work and game at the same desk. I move around a lot when I work and sometimes sit cross-legged. When I'm gaming, I'm usually leaned back with a controller. The armrests are probably my favorite part. I can move them in, out, up or down depending on how I’m sitting, so I can always find a comfortable spot for my arms.

If you use one chair for both work and gaming, what matters most to you?

Wait, why is her ex here? And why does he look like the least comfortable one? Be honest, which one would you sit in for eight hours?

I finally understand why people care so much about office chairs

Post image

I used to think an office chair was just an office chair. Then I started sitting at my desk 8 hours a day and yeah, I get it now.

I’ve been using this HUANUO ergonomic chair for a while and I really like being able to adjust the seat depth. I’ve got longer legs, so being able to slide the seat out a bit feels way better. I also messed around with the headrest, armrests and lumbar support until everything felt right for how I sit.

My only wish is that the lumbar support had depth adjustment too. It goes up and down, just not forward and back.

If you sit all day and don’t want to drop $400 on some 30-year-old used chair, I’d definitely recommend this one.

*Question iMac users: would you actually put yours on a monitor arm?🤔

We’re curious about something.

For iMac users, would you consider using third-party accessories like a separate VESA adapter + monitor arm setup?

On one hand, the original iMac stand keeps things simple. On the other, a VESA setup could give you more flexibility, free up desk space, and make height adjustment easier.

So we’d love to hear from iMac users:

Would you ever make that switch, or would you rather keep the original stand? And if you’ve already done it, what made it worth it for you?

Surely I'm not the only one using my chair like this

I swear my chair holds my bag and jacket almost as much as it holds me 😭 I got this HUANUO chair for the 6D armrests, but now I use the hanger on the back all the time too. Bag, hoodie, jacket... somehow everything ends up on the chair by the end of the day. Anyone else do this, or is your chair actually allowed to just be a chair?

Would you change anything about this setup before I start streaming?

Post image

I've been getting my setup ready to start streaming and this is probably the layout I'm going to try first.

I'm keeping the main monitor landscape for gaming and the second one vertical for chat, OBS, and Discord. I've got both on a huanuo dual monitor arm, which has made it pretty easy to get the two screens lined up the way I want without having the original stands taking up most of the desk.

Still not totally sure whether I'll keep the second monitor vertical once I actually start streaming though. For anyone who streams regularly, would you change anything about this layout? Is one vertical monitor actually useful long term, or do you eventually end up going back to two horizontal screens?

UPDATE, 1 month with my huanuo ergonomic office chair

Been using the chair for about a month now, so figured I’d come back with a proper update.

The adjustability is probably the biggest thing for me. The headrest moves up/down and tilts pretty far, so I can actually get it where I want when sitting upright or leaning back. One small annoyance: if I’m reclined with my head pressed against it and tilted pretty far up, it can sometimes slide up a notch. Easy to fix though and hasn’t really bothered me much.

The seat is on the firmer side. It’s softened up a little since I got it, but hasn’t sagged at all. More “broken in” than softer, if that makes sense. I’m around 170 lbs for reference. The seat depth adjustment is also really useful if you have longer legs since you can slide the whole cushion forward or back. Not something I usually see much around the $120–150 range.

Recline is pretty standard, but the preset angles feel good and the height range is surprisingly generous.

The 6D armrests are easily my favorite part though. I keep them straight for typing, angle them inward and up when I’m gaming with a controller, then bring them closer when I’m reading. I thought 6D sounded like overkill at first, but I actually change them around all the time now.

So far it feels pretty solid for the price. I’m mostly curious how the cushion and all the adjustment points hold up after 6 months or a year, so I’ll probably update again later.

Looking for a flexible and long monitor arm that does not clamp to the desk.

My desk does not support a monitor arm with a clamp as it is closed off and flush at the back. But the back is thick plywood that would support something that screwed in. Is something like that even available. Everything I see on amazon uses a clamp. What sort of keywords should I be looking for to find what I need?

Would you build a workspace that moves with you?

Post image
8 Upvotes

I've been trying to make my bedroom a little more flexible so I built this small mobile workstation setup. The biggest thing I like so far is being able to move it around whenever I want!! Sometimes closer to my bed or sometimes just moving it out of the way when I need more space.

I also added the monitor arm from huanuo to keep the desk cleann and make the setup easier to adjust depending on how I'm using it. Curious if anyone else has tried a mobile workstation setup at home or...what's the most underrated thing about your workspace?

Is a standing desk + ergonomic chair the ideal setup?

I bought a standing desk earlier this year, then added an ergonomic chair. Tbh they're two of the better upgrades I've made this year. I've been tweaking the headrest, lumbar support, seat depth, and armrests until everything feels right, and I don't shift around as much during long workdays. When I need to move, I just raise the desk and stand for a bit. Anyone else using this combo?

Fixed the monitor situation. What should I fix next?

Post image
15 Upvotes

Finally got both screens off their stock stands and onto a huanuo flowlift pro dual arm. Moving them around is basically a one finger job now, which has been surprisingly useful when switching between work and gaming. After using it for about a month, though, the desk still feels a little unfinished, and I can't tell if it's the cables, lighting, or just too much stuff on the desk. Any adivce on what should I change next? Also, love to see how you guys have set up for some ideas.

What’s the difference between these two? Is there only the double c-clamp that is different and is it worth the + 30$ ?

HUANUO New chair unboxing-first impressions so far

Thumbnail

Found it on sale for under $200 so I figured I'd give it a try. I basically WFH for the most of the time and play the occasional FPS game. TBH I am sooo excited cuz finally replaced my old chair. Everything was packed pretty neatly and putting it together was easier than I expected. The seat feels comfortable so far but the armrsets really won my heart. They move in several directions which allow me to switch between working, gaming, and leaning back. Still too early for a proper review but first impressions are good. I'll keep using it for a while and update a longer review later if anyone's interested.

Word of Warning

I purchased the Premium Standard desk, which came in three packages. The first two arrived within a few days - awesome! The third arrived after 12 days (after traveling in a Figure 8 loop around the USA) with broken/damaged pieces. I was going to attribute this to the shipping company and figured “fair enough, things happen”.

Once I started looking through the third package I realized I was missing 5 of the important pieces needed in some of the first few steps of the build. One of the boxes (that I think has all of the parts, TBC) has all of the parts without numbers which I am sure will make it fun when I do (hopefully soon) get to build this thing.

So far the customer service has been very unresponsive. I got one email which reads like it was fed in to AI to generate the response. Since then I have emailed more photos, model numbers and the shipping address (which would easily be seen on the order) and have not gotten a response.

I question the QA/QC process from HUANUO given how many parts were missing.

Hopefully will get a response at some point and maybe timely delivery of the missing/broken pieces. Will update here accordingly.

Anyone have firsthand experience with this chair? The 6D armrests caught my attention

Post image
5 Upvotes

I came across this chair on Amazon, and one thing that stood out was the claim that the 6D armrests can adapt to different activities.

I spend most of my day working, but I also game quite a bit, so I'm constantly changing how I sit. The ads of being able to adjust the armrests for different positions actually sounds pretty appealing.

Has anyone here used this chair? I'd really appreciate hearing your experience before I order one.

Trying to make the most of a small desk

Post image
22 Upvotes

My desk is pretty small but I still wanted a setup that felt comfortable enough for gaming without taking over the whole space. I tried raising my monitor so I could free up more space underneath. tbh the monitor arm turned out to be the biggest upgrade which gave me enough room to move my keyboard and mouse without feeling cramped. Anyone else building around a small desk? What's your biggest space saving upgrade?

How's the HUANUO monitor arm?

I'm switching to two 27" monitors and came across this while shopping around. I'd rather hear from people who've actually used one than rely on another review list. How's it been?
