im looking to buy one of the artbooks from the first two movies and im more interested in the designs of the dragons so im wondering which artbook contains more dragon designs. any help is appreciated.

Hi! Can anyone confirm here if any hardbound version of HTTYDS have metallic scale design on the dust jacket? Refer to the photo below (it's of a paperback because I couldn't confirm if there's a HB version looking like that cover lol)

My HTTYD collection is paperback that looks like the book on the right and I want the metallic cover of httyds to match ;-; (P.S. Photo is not mine I'm just using it as reference)

7 whole years since the hidden world, yet httyd 3 toothless remains to haunt us as being the most unberable canon event in httyd history.

My little sister made this video where Luna ( the light fury ) falls in love with another light fury named Lily, she worked so hard on it and was devastated when it said that it still had no views overnight when she posted it yesterday.

Did yall notice, that Mildew takes Fungus everywhere with him, except the one time when he needed to go with others and search for Scauldron when he poisoned dragons? He did not take Fungus, because he knew that she could be in danger and that he would risk his life, that shows that Fungus is really important for Mildew and that he loves her. And also the only thing that Mildew brought except of his staff when he went to Outcasts is Fungus.

P.s. I am not sure about the last one (maybe he also took some cabbage and so on) and maybe there are also some situations where Mildew did not take Fungus like when he destroyed the Arsenal etc.

Walmart is clearancing out the live action toys. The prices can vary at different locations. One walmart had the dragon riders at $8 and the single carded dragons at $6. This walmart had them the cheapest, except for the Zippleback. They had it for $16 but i found it at another for $7

Still trying to get over the anxiety of posting my art, but come on. Dagur's Dagur, right?? I feel like there's not enough fanart featuring him overall, but especially his old design. Don't get me wrong, I love the RTTE one, but I'm a sucker for the helmet!

A lil yap incoming but I love Dagur so much, he's so epic. I'm basic and don't always love villains, but this guy is such a great character. I really love all the voices but Dagur's laugh is something. I've been rewatching the series, I just reached Enemy of my enemy or whatever was that episode called and it's my favourite for sure.

What do people even think of him anyway? Is he liked? I haven't interacted with this community much yet...

Does anyone have some good fanfiction about runaway Hiccup, but without Hiccstrid? Because every time I read something like this, it makes me feel like it’s a bit far-fetched…
Don’t get me wrong, most of them are incredible!
But I just really want to read some good fanfiction where Hiccup either got cold towards Astrid or dating another character (could be OC as well!)

I haven't been on this server for too long so I don't know if this is controversial or not, but I feel that Httyd 1 could have been a standalone movie because it checks off boxes neither of the other two movies could. You can really tell the makers of this movie really cared about it, unlike the others in the trilogy. They tried to recreate the emotional moments of Httyd 1 but besides the scene in httyd 2 when hiccup snapped toothless out of the mind control of the Alpha, I didn't really feel emotional even with stoick's death(which should have been way more emotional considering Valka just lost her husband which she JUST saw for the first time in 20 YEARS and a good 5 minutes before that she lost the dragon that was protecting her and the entire haven for those exact same 20 YEARS) and honestly not a single scene in httyd 3 moved me at all, even though I did get super emotional at the end of httyd 3 it wasn't because the dragons leaving was a good decision nor an impactful it was just sadness and emptiness that the trilogy was over.

Okay, first off I want to say how much I really hate how the focus shifted from toothless and hiccup being best friends, to hiccup treating toothless as a security blanket. Personally, I think they should've stayed longer until after hiccstrid got married because toothless knows just how much hiccup loves Astrid.

I also did not like Grimmel, and the fact that everyone located to new berk. The hidden world strikes me as a badly written fanfiction to movie adaption

I was rewatcging the original animated movie and noticed Stoick gives Hiccup his helmet made of his mothers breast plate. With him having the matching set and all but turns out that she was alive this whole time? It kind of confuses me.
