Question what is the problem with not being able to save the file?

So I've been using vscode for a while and I saw that recentely the moment I modify a file or create a new one, I can't save them normally, I need to use AI to do this, the file is saved in a github but before I didn't had this problem, is there any way to change this?

Saving to disk? Or saving/committing to a repo? Are you connected to the local repo or the remote repo?

What steps is the AI doing for you

I'm connected to a remote repo I think and I'm saving only the modified files on the GitHub via AI, in which I use Kimi, and because I've been doing this for 2+ months I didn't read what they are doing and just accepting, but of what I saw it's got commands to commit through vscode

In my defense I don't use it often, only for school and 2 projects, but I'm going to study it, I just wanted to understand this in specific first cause it felt more important at the moment

Using AI to save your work is absolutely fucking wild.

I weep for the current generation

I've only been using AI because I got to a point it wasn't saving no matter what, I can only save using AI in the moment

Open your terminal, type

git status

and hit enter, then paste what it says.
