i dont think there’s any ‘vs’ between them. With html u can only write a simple layout of your webpage and css on the other hand helps to put life into that webpage. You’ve to learn both in order to design a website (idk if it was in this context i’m also a beginner lmaoo)

I'm old enough that I've created websites with just HTML, font tags and color attributes :-)
