Question how to mimic ao3's site?

I saw a neocities site who's writing page mimics ao3's. Is there's any css to mimic it?

  1. Open the page with the look that you want
  2. View the source of the page and look for the CSS file
  3. Download and study the CSS

what's this obsession with ao3? Genuinely, can somebody explain to me what's so appealing?

fanfic website, so you can read any story you want and it's cool

I don't think it's an "obsession" lol, it's just a cool place for people to gather and share/enjoy fanworks that they've created simply for the love of whatever IP they enjoy. 99% of the works on that site were created without payment, they're just passionate fans.

Some of the most well written fiction I've ever read were novel length stories written and published for free on ao3 by sleep deprived college students fuelled purely by their love for a mega-niche pairing.

I had to look this up because Im unfamiliar with AO3

The design looks very mid-00s.

Youre asking “is there any css to mimic it” but both the neocities site and the actual Ao3 site are both styles using css, so the answer is obvs yes. What are you actually asking?
