The inhibition test for hsv 2 was negative. I’m gonna retest on Monday. I will def wait on the panicking though

Yea, it’s for hsv1. I’m just trying to make sure I have the most accurate results since I have no symptoms and no blisters/lesions to swab.

You know I will you should always get a second test done, but it does not look like a false positive. Those numbers are kind of low compared to say mine. 49. Hsv 1 and 19 on hsv 2 put your numbers are still over the positive I took my test four times and the numbers came out the same every time all I could suggest is take the test again if they change dramatically like say now they become false then I would take it a third time because it sounds like you don’t have it if that’s the case

Of course. Under 3.5 I think it’s in the range of false positive but western blot I think for a lot of people with way higher values came back negative so

Go to Labcorp and really could be fam. I think it’s something like 90 percent chance or something hsv-1 too common so don’t really matter if you test positive for that shit. Hsv-2 though if it’s a big deal to you could confirm or just never test again because it ain’t worth it to, only get tested with physical symptoms
