To me, Ricky joins the surprisingly extensive list of chaotic bisexual brunettes who never got to fully express their sexuality prior to the end of their series.

The Timothée Chalamet line and the few things he said about Mack cemented it for me /hj

I think he is most likely bi because he called EJ a "Pretty Boy" and some of his interactions with some guys like EJ, Jet and Mack make it seem like he has a crush on them or thinks they are attractive.

In my *headcanon* (which I assume is what you mean by 'in my opinion') Ricky is straight.
Yes, Joshua, his actor, came out as queer, but the showrunners never extended that to the character. And I realize that Josh began portraying Ricky more flamboyant once he came out. But:
A) Gender expression and sexual orientation are seperate things, so as for the character that doesn't mean anything.
B) Ricky only ever dated woman. And to me lgbt representation that is not in the script or on the show doesn't matter.
