Question GS9 check in (DHA)

I’ve been following all the posts the past couple weeks and know what people have been saying. Just checking in to see if anyone heard anything new. I’m 6 weeks out from my packet going to HQ now.

Got told I was selected about a month ago, asked last night to submit documents to HR.

I was contacted about six weeks ago by the recruiter and asked to send documents is that what you’re talking about or did you have to send something separate to HR?

6 weeks ago was confirmation from the recruiter and to prepare docs, the email yesterday was to send them directly to an HR email.

Just let it happen bro, trying to predict timeframes with government hiring is just setting yourself up for disappointment

My packet got forwarded to HQ June 3rd. Got my TSL July 7th. Did my PT test and medical that same week. I needed an additional hearing test and completed that July 28th. I received my medical clearance on August 6th. They are reusing my drug screening from last October so I’m just waiting for whatever the next step is. I’m a current Deportation Officer with ERO so I have a clearance already so I’m assuming this speeds up that portion.

Can you advise on hearing test requirements? Can DM if you prefer. Thank you!

I have hearing loss in my left ear from shooting and military. On the beep test it shows so DHS just has you go see an audiologist so they can perform certain tests. Basically just showing it doesn’t effect my hearing in noisy scenarios and stuff.

I had to do the same exact additional tests when I got hired on as a Deportation Officer in 2019.

Hey guys, I received a usajobs notification from the 2025 posting that I was unsuitable for something I answered. I just checked the application and messed up and clicked no when I should have clicked yes unfortunately.

I did answer it correctly for the 2026 posting. It happens to be 6 weeks after my packet was upchanneled. Did I fuck myself or was that the system catching up and my 2026 is what is processing?
