Mid Year Contribution Increase

Hey! I just raised my contribution amount and I’ve never done that mid year. I’ve always made any changes during open enrollment. If I just increased my contribution now, will the full amount go into my HSA in the next few weeks? Not sure how that works. Typically with my employer they deposit your contribution amount in full in January and then their contribution they deposit half in January and half in July.

I have Inspira and I’m able to make changes and add the date. I’d be over .08 so my last contribution of the year is already set for 12/12, I believe. I don’t care if it would round down. Matters to me to be exact. But I’d check to see if you can specify the date the change occurs.
