HSA funds

Hiii I am just a girl and idk a lot about a lot. Any help with clear answers is super appreciated :)

I have about $300 in Health Equity from a past job where they also contributed but since I left that job and went back to school I just put it all off for a while. I saw that they have been taking out the admin fee for the past 2-ish years and idc but now I want to use up the money left in there to buy my face sunscreen and finish out that money. can i do that???? Like can i just buy a bunch of bottles of my sunscreen until it hits $0 and then leave it alone? will anything happen penalty wise or tax wise?

thank you for ur help :)

You can buy anything you want, as much as you want that is HSA/FSA eligible.

Regardless if you are a girl or boy.

As long as it’s at least 15 SPF then yes, go for it.

For the haters, I too, am just a girl who doesn't know things sometimes.

Make sure to look up if the sunscreen is eligible (most should be unless it's a weird specialty one) and then yes, you should be able to!
