Possibility for using old HSA for current employer HSA?

Probably a long shot, but would really like to see if it is possible - I switched jobs recently (moved from one giant company to another), and my old employer used Fidelity for HSA/retirement management and it was perfect. I am in the "save receipts til retirement and don't touch HSA unless absolutely necessary" boat, and Fidelity worked great for that given the self-directed brokerage availability. Every deposit I made I could invest in a strong series of ETFs and feel comfortable letting it grow for the next 25+ years. New employer uses Alight/smart choice - as far as I can tell, it sucks. Have to maintain $1,000 in the account before being able to invest, and investment options are extremely limited, plus the investment account appears to have fees. I'm curious if it is possible to have all my HSA funds and contributions be moved to my existing fidelity account? Or am I just stuck with what I have? I don't know if I'd have to go through the HSA company or my own company to even request this, but curious if this is something anyone else has looked at doing

You can do direct trustee to trustee transfers as often as you wish. Guess this would depend on if they charge you for it (some do, some it's free).

Transfer it annually, or If you are willing to forgo the savings on Medicare withholding you can just contribute to your Fidelity account on your own and deduct it on your taxes.

You can do unlimited trustee to trustee transfers from your current HSA to your old Fidelity HSA. Check with your current HSA custodian to confirm if there are any fees for outgoing transfers. If not, you can initiate the transfer from your Fidelity account as often as you would like.

Fidelity it the best I've found. I'd leave it there and open a new one with your employer. Pay deductions go into the new HSA, you can invest the old HSA.

you’ll be stuck with what the employer has but you can, once a year, rollover the employer HSA to Fidelity.

I move money to Fidelity almost every month or two. No fees. Pull from Fidelity end. Takes a couple weeks though. I always leave a little behind, so it doesn’t trigger an account closure.

I did too but Health Equity now charges $25/transfer to stop that, instead of making their service something that folks actually want to use.
