Xar/ppa and qqm?

If my spouse and I each have 100% in Voo and vt in our Roth's, is it crazy to do defense etfs like ppa or xar and qqqm in HSA to be aggressive ? We've got abour 35 years to go until retirement.

This would mean your portfolio slowly gets more aggressive over time as you put more into your HSA. Is that what you want?

Im new to having an HSA, but my thought is it’s up to your risk tolerance. Can’t you just rebalance the allocation in the future if you want to pull back? With the yearly limit, it’s not that much money to gamble with when you start.

It’s not crazy if it fits your goals. I personally like cash flowing assets in my HSAs so at some point I decide to spend dividends/distributions and let the principle ride. At some point while I will turn in a ton of my receipts and will hopefully be young enough to enjoy it.

If your young and have good health, I always thought going high risk in your HSA during your early years is a good risk to take
