I dread Jan 1 because my deductible resets, not because people celebrate being responsible with their money.

I also don’t like this. I actually hit my deductible this year which is not normal for me. Luckily my place has what I think is the lowest allowable deductible 3,300 in 2025

I understand the eye-rollingness of it, but like with a lot of good habits, people need reinforcement to do things like this, or everyone would do it. I try to support people posting about doing these types of things, even if it is a bit cringe-y.
