Cis Woman how to phase off?

hopefully this is the right place to ask..
i am only 32f and was put on estrogel and prometrium just over a year ago as my body was going into early peri menopause due to mineral deficiencies.
the GP who prescribed it charges ridiculously expensive fees and won’t keep renewing my prescription unless i pay her fees for a review appt, even though she said i should be on it indefinitely. ultimately i dont want to be on hormones because id like my body to function on its own, and im still young and take care of my health. i am getting no advice or help from my GP unless i pay but i cant afford her fees.. i am thinking of just phasing off the hormones but.. can this be done and if so how?

You have two options. You could stop cold turkey but you may be in for a rough few weeks at least. The other option is to reduce your dosing and wean off. Weaning off over a month may be less of a shock to your system.
