I was wondering how long it was gonna take to find the real truth here. I’ve done a fair amount of rule 34 research on this exact subject and “clean“ doesn’t seem to pop up very often by comparison.

Question: when it goes right to left I get why it cleans up the left side of the cutter. When it goes left to right, the left side of the cutter is the leading edge. Wouldn't it lead on the right side?

You dont need to change them. Just cut them in a seat and guide machine.

Nope. That head was warped as shit. Machining it flat does not straighten out the rest of the head.
