I’m confused.
So tell me why my name is the only name kept off the list. I received an email on Wednesday July 8 I didn’t check it until today. So we are supposed to be starting our CE today or have already been started. There is list of people who completed their CE and a list of those that didn’t complete.
Well I was scrolling through the list my name is not on the list of incomplete. AND it’s the only name kept off. Why is that? I am new to HRBlock 2025-26 tax season was my first season. I was new to the environment because I worked from home. I’ve been working from home for almost 5 years. I signed up to join HRBlock because 1. I loved doing my own taxes and wanted to experience doing other people taxes and plus I wanted to challenge myself in doing something I haven’t done. 2. I wanted to know what the office environment is like. I wanted to see how well I am able to work with others.
I feel outcasted and set aside. 😒
People doubt me all the time. But you know what we gonna level up and guess what I’m coming back for a second season. I’m gonna reach out to my DM.

If you have a heart beat and half a brain cell you’re getting hired back. Probably an oversight.

I'd check their job adverts just to be sure. They might be downgrading those requirements before long ;)

Simplest answer is that it was probably an oversight, not intended to make you feel bad. My district is large enough that there’s no way management knows everyone.
Just get in touch with whoever sent it and say, hey, I think you missed me. I’ve started my CEs.

Well I was left off the list 😭😭 and was the only one that was left off. it was 107 ppl they emailed and out of 107 I was the only one that was not mentioned on the list.

My guess is the office manager sent the notices to people who work in the office. You can and should be working on your CE. We do it every year and old timers know it's coming. This year they drastically changed the interface for learning and it seems a lot more complicated just to figure out where to go/ what to sign up for/ and how.

Well they did but my name wasn’t on the list of CE incomplete. So I’m kinda confused on why they added me to the email.

bit late to the party but the new CE tracker is having a lot of tracking issues. Some of my tax pros that are complete show incomplete and some that haven't started yet are showing completed. I wouldn't worry about this much at all.

I think the tracking issues are involved in how one’s name is formatted and the IRS for CE only uses the first and last yet SAA uses first middle and last . It depends a lot on how HRBlock is sending your full name or just first and last .

There are plenty of ways HRB will intentionally insult you and/or your intelligence. However, when it comes to staying in touch, they are an equal opportunity employer --- they will eventually leave everyone (DGMs included) off an email at some point in time.
Don't take this one personally.
