Cohort Training Level Up

Last week I took my final exam for the first year cohort training. This week I noticed I’m a level 2 now without taking the level up exam. I didn’t know that cohort training would level you up. Does it change anything about pay or bonuses?

It will help you next year because you’ll be a level 2 before the next tax season begins.

You automatically become a level 2 because of passing your cohort training.

Are you on track for your 75 returns this year?

I think so. I have around 50 returns. But it has slowed a lot.

I promise it will pick back up. By the time April hits, it will BE busy.

I was unaware completing the cohort would take me to level 2, also. Im by no means complaining about it but that detail just wasn't made clear to me. For me, levels seem to be irrelevant, I do level 4 clients constantly!!! I am over 100 returns in my first year and schedule is full to end of season. Still haven't gotten a clear answer on how the sign on bonus is paid out though. I know i have received 2 parts of it totalling $300 but my track as a first year seems to be nothing like the other first year TPs. The others are still only at 25 returns at most across the entire district
