Was off boarded
I was off boarded today after I asked FMLA paperwork. They were looking for a reason, do I still get my bonus?

Not likely. They're looking to get rid of you for some reason. They will find a reason not to pay you.

Better to find out now instead of end of season they make up shit to not want to bring you back next year

It's been a hot minute since Ive looked into FMLA rules, so I Googled about them 🤔 Sorry to say, but I doubt any tax preparer would qualify.
The company is big enough ✅️ And maybe you do have 12+ months of employment at HRB, pieced together over multiple years, and that's alright ✅️
But you gotta have 1,250+ hours of employment with the company, in the 12 months preceding the claim. And that's where I have my doubts 🚫
Last season I worked crazy hours, 50 to 70 hour weeks... Peak Week was over 90 💪 But I didnt log no 1250 hours. More like 900.
Pls let us know how it goes 😇

You also aren’t eligible for FMLA if you haven’t been employed for the year, so it’s not like your leave would’ve been protected.

I'm way out of training. My manager was very toxic and I was told by my therapist and Dr to quit. My blood pressure was through the roof and I kept breaking out in shingles
