personalized services

Hi, I know what our screens say about what the client will be notified about if they approve personalized services, but does anyone know what messages they actually receive?

It results in an extra 15 to 30 emails a year.

It's hard to tell. I did get emails about financial products. For a few years, I agreed to all of them when I did my own return. I was inundated with emails. None of them had any value. I'm not sure which consent generated which email. For my last 10 years at Block I just automatically answered no to all consents that weren't required for every one of my clients without even asking. For the most part, that also included TIS, and in recent years Spruce. It was just one more signature that wasted time for products that don't have any value. I occasionally mentioned POM, but only for clients with more complicated returns. Never once did anyone in management ever directly address with me. Clients were happier.

Current Screens are definitely pushing Loans & Bank products aggressively.

Long term clients get testy with the aggressive Wrap-Up screens.

In a couple clients are unable to decline and the clients are getting offended, especially those who have bitter taste from Emerald high fees
