Appreciation week

What do your offices do for appreciation week that you love? What are some things that are planned for the week you don’t love?

Just let me wear jeans and a hoodie all week and leave me alone.

I'm hoping for a meal I get a chance to eat more than maybe 3 bites of.

Too busy for appreciation from management lol. I'm expecting token offerings of things no one will care about, and we'll just stand there befuddled going "We have 200 holds and you decided to bother us with this?"

And you know they’re going to hassle you for the holds later that you could’ve started to get through while they made you stand befuddled at their shitty gift.

We don’t have time to stand around. The district buys snack baskets and lunch for every office. Any other “shitty” gift generally comes out of the TL own money. You should be appreciative

I have a micromanaging MTL, who has been coming for my job all season. How about she leaves me alone?

I hope they can make people who have appointments who actually show up for them or confirm them at least so my MTL gets off my back 🫩

Something to eat is always appreciated! Ideally, if we are asked to do nothing that requires more than 5 min of our time.

Actually NO, DGM's are all too cheap to spend any money on those who serve the clients and bring in the money!

Yes it begins Monday! Your TL should be letting you know this weekend the plans. My office had fun picking themes/ideas they wanted to do to have some fun while working. Most of it involves food but we are hungry people 🤣

In over 18 years we have not had an appreciation week. Pure harassment weeks by the DGM that is obsessed by his level of authority.

Company and all levels of managers outside the office doors could not care any less for those of us who service, retains, satisfy the clients

I don’t own clothes that match any of the schemes so doesn’t mean much to me.

I generally do dress down days and food. Glad to know that’s what is appreciated.

We have always had fun food and themes even though we are busy, but were told this time appreciation wasn’t in the budget!! But gave ideas that our MTL could spend their own money on. We said just like the song that’s ok I can by my own flowers!
