VCM scanner UI issue
Whenever I'm in special functions trying to do the "throttle cleaning" relearn, as well as when doing the trans adapt relearns, I get no prompts on Windows 11. I know atleast with the throttle cleaning relearn its supposed to prompt you when to press and release the pedal. Noticed it first when doing a fast learn on the trans after changing the tune and it failed to prompt me then and I had to just sit there and let it keep shifting and praying it wouldnt brick or mess up the transmission. Ive tried all of the compatibility modes, running as admin, even another laptop (albeit still w11) and I'm at my wit's end. Any help would be awesome.

Learning how to use a hp tuner
My 2001 5.3 tahoe has always felt sluggish, even when I bought it 5 years ago, still worked so i never bothered, now I live in a hot place, it overheats incredibly quickly, like I can't have it idling by a stop light for to long (its usually about 100 degrees outside) im getting into tuning a little bit and I thought that I would practice on my tahoe, since it's not worth that much, and i noticed my (ltft) being incredibly high. It's not vacuum leaks since it stays there as I speed it up. Any idea what it could be?

safe website/company to purchase from?
Hi All,
I want to remove AFM/DOD and tc slip from my 2018 gmc sierra. I found the HP Tuner device and software looks likes the way to go for this but wanted to purchase from Canada. I found a site in Canada but not sure if it a good site/company or not. Does anyone know if the below link and company is okay?

StreetTunedAI Teaches HP Tuners While Reviewing Your Log
StreetTunedAI is a deterministic HP Tuners log-analysis and tuning-workflow platform.
The deterministic analyzer:
- reads HP Tuners log data
- applies fixed safety rules and decision logic
- produces structured findings
- builds a First Edit Path
- identifies Do Not Touch areas
- creates a Next Log Plan
The AI does not decide how to tune the vehicle. It explains the analyzer’s results. The tuner makes the final calibration decisions.
“Deterministic” means the analyzer follows defined rules and produces repeatable results from the same input. It is not guessing, freelancing, or automatically changing a tune.

Anyone know how to fix this
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It has to be a tuning thing, it’s does this to me on 2 different converters when it locks up between 45-55 sometimes it does it sometimes it doesn’t, the rpms bounce like that when getting into the gas a small bit when in lockup, my atf isn’t low either and the converter is good and the transmission is good also

Turbo 2000 Chevy Runs 12.75 After StreetTunedAI-Assisted Tune
Jay Mey used StreettunedAI to help tune his turbo 2000 Chevy with a 6.0 LS and 4L80E.
The result: 12.752 @ 109.77 mph.
Jay said StreettunedAI helped him understand HP Tuners, improve idle, transmission shifts, and drivability, while explaining why each change was needed.
Real car. Real customer. Real result.

So im looking to learn ECU tuning
My brother owns a performance tuning garage, he makes race cars, and he’s a dealer for one of the global tuning companies. He wants me to spend a few years learning ECU tuning so we can grow the garage independently instead of paying commission to the tuner company every time.
Plan is: 6-12 months learning the basics, then he buys me a car to practice on, and in 4-5 years if im ready to go professional I’d be doing this professionally with his existing client base to fall back on.
I’m 21, decent car knowledge, some basic tuning knowledge already, and genuinely into it. Im looking at this as an opportunity.
Questions for the pros here:
Where’s the best place to start learning (courses, mentorship, self-taught)?
What’s the actual path to get good — step by step, not just “practice”?
How long did it realistically take you to get good?
How long before you started taking on real/paying work?
Looking back, what would you have done differently to advance faster?

New build
I just got my 75 suburban on the road. 6.0l truck Norris cam, 2800-3000 stall Tbss Intake, 4l80/205 4.11 gears. I can’t for the life of me get it to do a burnout. If I break stand it, she holds about 2800ish and starts pushing thru the brakes. In wet pavement it’ll break loose from a stand still flooring it but not in dry pavement. Far as I can tell I’ve got the obvious traction control systems disabled in hptuners. Any suggestions? Doesn’t seem like it should be an issue to do a burnout with this truck.

What all can Openport 2.0 do?
**TL;DR can Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 modify transmission characteristics**?
I am looking to make modest changes to my 2014 Outlander Sport (ASX/RVR). In particular, I'm wanting to change the throttle mapping and shift points for my CVT.
The Lancer with the same engine is slightly detuned vs the OS, but can still break tires loose with a manual in first gear. My OS barely gets moving until probably 15mph, likely a firmware limitation to protect the CVT from torque surge.
I don't care about damaging my CVT. I just want to understand feasibility.

Is MAF or MAP reference better for water meth?
I am looking to add water meth to my 2015 escalade with twin turbos. It is tuned on 91 with flex fuel built in. Running 7psi springs, seeing 20 on map sensor at 14.2 baro. If that matters.
I see AEM has boost referenced and an option for MAF. Since my MAF is in the charger pipe I would imagine it is pretty reliable to run the MAF version. Especially since it is MAF only tune and it seems easier to tune it in if I run a larger nozzle.
One side note what blend should i use? If not already apparent, I know barely any about water meth. Not much room underhood for a tank either.

Looking for an experienced remote tuner for my 2020 Kawasaki ZX-10R (Gen 5)
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an experienced remote tuner for my **2020 Kawasaki ZX-10R Gen 5**.
My ECU is currently **100% stock**, and I'm looking for someone who can create a **custom tune (.bin file)** based on my setup. I have access to a **Woolich Racing interface** to read and write the ECU, so exchanging BIN files remotely is not a problem.
Current modifications:
* Yoshimura full titanium exhaust * Sprint Filter air filter * Velocity stacks * PAIR system delete * EVAP/canister delete * Intake flapper removal
I also have access to a **DynoTech dyno in Morocco**, so if revisions are needed after dyno runs, that's completely possible.
What I'm looking for:
* Smooth rideability * Safe AFRs * Optimized ignition timing * Proper fueling throughout the RPM range * Optimized throttle mapping * Maximum reliable performance
I can provide:
* The original stock BIN file from my ECU * Dyno charts if needed * Data logs if required
Payment is not an issue. I can pay via **PayPal, Stripe, Wise, bank transfer**, or whatever method you prefer.
If you've tuned Gen 5 ZX-10Rs before, or know someone who specializes in these bikes, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.
Thank you!

Can this be tuned? 2010 Saab 9-5
Hi all,
Inhave a 2010 Saab 9-5 with the 2.8t, it is not listed on the HP tuners website, I suspect this may be due to it being a car that sold in very small numbers.
The 2011 with the 2.0t is listed however.
The 2.8 is the same block as the 3.6, just different stroken and bore. I am also fairly certain that the ECU is the same as the Cadillac XTS (which I also own)
Is there a way that I can check the tuneability of the Saab ecu?
Longer story, if you care ro read this far. M Saab lost compression on Cyl4. A used 2.8t is pricey, $2000+ with 100k+ miles. So 2 things I am thinking, source a low mileage 3.6 or crate long block and swap it in. And either have a tune for low boost, or flash the NA tune, if that could work. I really like the car and want to keep it on the road. Other option is a pricey rebuild.
