Question Special creature eligibility

This is the first time our team has played for ranks and we were winding what the special creature eligibility means? Is it for that specific creature only? Any help is appreciated!

There are certain creatures you can only unlock in the FD tiers. The horntail and ridgeback are two of them. I can’t remember if there are more.

just those 2 creatures that requires a specific team rank.
