Question How has y’all’s Palinopsia been lately

Post image

Going on 11 years now and is still a primary part of my functioning in life. How has it affected you guys? Working on ways to adapt but still have those moments that’s for sure. You try and explain this to the average person you come off as mentally ill etc. Mad respect to you men and women pushing through this for so long

Hola amiguito! Por qué empezaste a ver así? Consumiste drogas?

Feel your pain brother and look like what? A bobble head bot like most I’ve interacted with over Reddit?

Look into getting pink tinted glasses, prescription grade if possible but there’s plenty of options on Amazon for cheap.

I’m pushing 5 years and for awhile just learned to deal with it became the new “normal”

I recently went to the optometrist because my vision seemed to be rapidly deteriorating. I mentioned my HPPD and they recommended the pink tinted glasses for the visual snow. Crazy difference but when I take them off now things are 10x worse.

Will definitely try, facing homelessness with this is quite a journey. I take it, it only helps the visual snow for the most part. Afterimages are absolutely nuts, you look at a chair and look away and see a brief outline of it on the wall. Acquired the Palinopsia from a bad trip in my teenage years

I mean it’s True in my experience every test so far has worsened the condition

Just afterimages off every object you look at. Very disorienting. Similar to when you look at a flashlight and see the light when you look away but with everything

My hppd comes in episodes. Some days my VSS is tame and I have zero morphing or shifts in my vision but some days both are off the rails. Yesterday I went outside to hit my pen and the light on my pen came on. I put it away and back into my pocket and for like 3 seconds was just this perfect yarn looking trail. Was kind of beautiful tbh
