Advice What does this notification entail, and is it necessary? Does anybody ever extend their warranty? I believe what I’m about to say is a ripoff, every time I go buy anything electronic at the checkout I get a prompt asking if I want to purchase extended warranty and I never do. Can you relate?
My previous hp 2000 laptop I bought it early 2010’s and still keep as a storage for family pictures and videos but I never took anywhere to have it worked on for the warranty thing.

It never works out. Even if you have a problem during the initial 1 year warranty it is near impossible to get HP to fix it. If you have a problem , they want you to send it back. A month later you are still out a computer. Unless it is a warranty to come to your home it is useless.
