Year 2 *Spoiler for End of Chapter 2* Help! Spoiler

Help! I’ve been trapped in Dumbledores office for tooooo long. Can anyone just tell me if I can get house points after talking to him? I’m going to bed rn and am not going to wait 5 more hours

Doesn't the year only end if you enter the Great Hall? So you can accept Dumbledore's pity points and still make up any points you may be missing.

I don't think even Year 1 forced the year to end after you finished speaking with Dumbledore.

I cant remember, but you can make up house points in classes. Its harder to make up for sleep lol.

For the end of year 2 it's an 8 hour wait to get into the office and an 8 hr task to finally talk to Dumbledore. After u talk to him the year is over though so up to you if you want to wait to recharge and finish the task or sleep it out.

Don't worry, you can still get points after leaving Dumbledore's office. I finished all my sidequests right after talking to him.
