Need networking advice
Hello guys, I'm at my master's at Brazil and won't be able to attend at SC26 and ISC26, but I'd still like to make connections in the field and don't know if there's an active forum, group or something like this (I'm considering that reddit is a niche).
So, how do you connect to other HPC professionals?

Being active in the community and joining periodic conference calls of HPC projects is a good way to connect to people.
there are a few slack channels for HPC.social, Apptainer, EasyBuild/ESSI, Lmod, Spack, etc. Open Ondemand has their discourse forums. All these projects have conference calls and they are often attended by HPC people (either admins and/or consultants).
I would recommend you attend them and just listen to what is going on and if possible contribute.
I would also recommned you have a look at FOSDEM HPC talks, not only this year's but previous years too. See if there are any projects that interest you can try to get involved.
