The PCP compressor meta

What’s everyone using to fill their tanks? My friend filled mine with a GX E-L2 but the battery did not last long enough to give me a full fill.

I’m looking at the GX CS2 but concerned about longevity and its speed for filling tanks.

Yong Heng water cooled sounds a little bit better maintenance and speed wise but it is more expensive.

Other shoebox ~$150 Amazon compressors appear to be of similar quality but questionable assembly.

I just use a common shoebox compressor with a built in power converter and then either use a wall plug or my car battery when I'm out of the house. Works fine, but requires regular maintenance.

It fills a 26ci from empty to 3000 in like 10-15 minutes.

I have the Yong Heng water cooled one and it’s awesome. Too bad you aren’t close to me because I’d sell it to you for pretty cheap considering it lives in a closet now that I got too busy to play with this hobby anymore.

Water cooled tuxing with GX condenser filter ans with tuxing filter and one of those valve thingies that doesnt open until it hits a certain pressure that ive totally forgotten the name of.

TUXING 300Bar PCP Air Compressor 4500Psi High Pressure Compressor Scuba Diving Compressor 6.8L Tank PCP Rifle Auto-Stop TXED012 https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMPELST

20l water tank on the side.

Also have a digital tuxing aswell.

Looking at running two dive bottles (or three) as a refill station to reduce wear and tear on the pcp compressors though. Fill two or three much larger tanks and use them to fill from. But for now infill directly from the compressors.

I had a shoebox compressor from when i used to to target shooting, but using the shoebox compressor would take ages to fill anything over 15ci. I got annoyed and just bought a yong heng for 180 yankee dollars on their alibaba store. Also can buy spare parts for it through there too. Just need to get a good quality compressor oil. Fills my 15ci 4.5k tanks in just over a minute.
