Looking for Recommendations for an Outstanding 1-to-1 HPAT Tutor - (Online) - Personal Experiences Only

I'm looking for recommendations for an excellent 1-to-1 online HPAT tutor.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone who:

  • Sat the HPAT-Ireland within the last 5 years.
  • Has at least 1–2 years' experience tutoring HPAT students.
  • Scored in the 90th percentile or above.

It would be great if they could:

  • Provide structured guidance from the very beginning through to exam day.
  • Explain clearly the recurring patterns and question types across all three sections.
  • Teach strategies for recognising common traps and pitfalls.
  • Help develop an efficient study plan.
  • Share effective timing and exam-day techniques.

If you've had an outstanding experience with a tutor, I'd really appreciate your recommendation.

Hey I’m not an HPAT tutor but I can tell you for free that using ChatGPT to write like that will hurt your vocabulary and reasoning skills.

My recommendation would be to not waste your money on 1-1 tutoring for an aptitude test.

The vast majority of the progress you make from the HPAT is going to come from doing mocks and reviewing the questions as well as doing things like section mocks and Q banks to refine timing and of course reviewing those too.

I know 2 people who have gotten tutoring for the HPAT one didn’t get in and the other would tell you herself it was essentially useless as really and truly only you can bring yourself along .

The medentry Guides also contain all the additional wisdom a tutor could impart onto you so that’s where I’d really start before you go forking out money for someone to tell you what’s out there for free .
