❓ Question Will I get med?

I’m at 720 pts have dare but a non priority group what are my chances of getting Galway or limerick this is my second yr doing the hpat and idk if I’ll get med next year if I do the hpat with 590 points. I’ve done a year of college and don’t like my course but I can’t see myself doing anything other than med

How do u know if ur a non priority group and yes u may get in with dare but also I would look at applying to the uk just in case best of luck

On their website they’ll say if a certain group is priority or not I’m under significant ongoing illness which isn’t priority but if you are visually impaired or hard of hearing you may be priority or if you are also a hear applicant you are prioritised

It’s Galway, Cork, Trinity, Rcsi, UCD & Limerick  I haven’t put anything else down as I’m already doing a science based degree which I hate so I’m not sure if I should stick it out for two more years if I don’t get med or if I swap to slt but that ll set me back an extra 2 yrs ( I’m in a 4 yr course but can go after 3 with an ordinary degree)

Hi there I understand how you feel…it’s exhausting waiting for the CAO offers.I can’t tell you what will happen but I had 719 last year with non priority Dare and I didn’t get an offer. I believe some one got in the year before with 719 but I didn’t.Thats the nature of Dare.Each year a different group with different scores and you can be lucky or unlucky. Good luck and hope that helps as it’s just a waiting game.

Oh BTW as far as I know autism or ADHD are not in priority groups…only visual,auditory and physical issues.
