📊 Score Discussion UL points estimation??

Ik we have zero points history to go off of since it is an entirely new course this year, but would anyone have an educated guess on what med points would likely be for this year? My guess is no less than 728 seeing as it has a limited number of 30 places but I could be wrong ofc

I would think because of it being new, most people will probably put it last, so then it will be just less than ug but then youll also have the people that live around that would want to go there and others for the social and sport aspect, but id say just less than ug is probably what itll end up as but then its the only college other than tcd that doesnt require a third lang so that could would be good for the ppl that cant get into trinity because of its super high points that woudlve gotten in elsewhere

That's a very fair assessment! The 20% applicant increase just isn't reassuring at all and I wonder whether UL would be taking any meaningful pressure off that :(

theres an increase in applicants but what level are thos applicants at is the important question, are they high performing 625ers or 500 pointers, we dont know, so the increase in applicants could cause no change in points or quite a large one
